    As a quant developer myself I was reluctant to subscribe to his course to learn how he develops his strategies because I found no myfxbook record on his website.
    However he claims that in the 21 day program he reviews EAs created globally with track record so I subscribed to the free course.

    I just finished reviewing a fair amount of what Petko recommends in his collection of profitable EAs by other developers.
    These included EA's by Valeria such as the Golden Pickaxe and some others which got my attention since they create profits greater than 10% monthly.

    He talked about some Eas by leapfx such as Trade Explorer and the King Robot. I looked at their my fxbook trades from other users. One of these trades somehow like the Juggernaut bot.

    He also talked about the XAUBOT 1 which seems to have a trial version from developer. All of the later bots stated do produce a greater than 10 % monthly return with my fxbook results for more than a year at least. (I usually look for 2 years)

    One of these is available on here on our forum for free. I think its the trade explorer bot. I am currently testing it on a demo account.

    Hi,

    Yes, this guy seems to have good advice.

    Personally, I'm very wary of EA's that advertise 100% monthly returns.
    Because even if it's true, the risks taken are enormous and so is the drawdon.

    What I'm looking for is an EA who doesn't "jump" on an FTMO account to help
    me get through the challenges and manage the Live account afterwards. Like
    Petko does. I love his idea of coupling EA + manual trading.

    I've just activated 2 of his robots (from his FTMO Challenge course) on my FTMO
    demo account. 1 on EURUSD and 1 on EURNZD. I'll see how it goes when I get
    home from work this evening. :D

    Golden Pickaxe blew up last week the 2 tracked accounts... gold is too volatile for martingales

    Hers is still running. I am starting to suspect some discrepancies when we fail to talk with authors or people with successful trading history before setting up these EAs.

    I noticed some of the set files do nothing when uploaded to the EA. Meaning it does not get updated. Maybe it would work in the backtest area. Also I also hear that some of these EA's need a HFT VPS to work best. I am talking now with seller of Market Wizard EA, it performed well on a demo and on a life account not that well the first day.

    I also think that the right lot size for risk management is very important especially if the EA uses a Martingale. Chat GTP can calculate it but if its a martingale maybe the creator of the EA knows better.

    I also tested the Trade Explorer EA, it opened a single position. Maybe I should Open it on all the pairs recommended.

    The diamond EA seems to do well and is about to pass the FTMO prop firm trial challenge. However on a live account it opens few trades. I am about to test it again on another demo then increase the slippage tolerance, planning back to take it to my live account even-though the profits are slow but steady.

    I would either get that one back to my live account or the Juggernaut if its ready or else the Trade Explorer if it does well.

    Hi,

    Yesterday, no open trades by Petko's robot.

    Today, however, 3 trades on EURUSD opened almost simultaneously.

    I just got home from work and cut them manually as the trend seemed
    o be running out of steam.

    Even though it's an FTMO demo account, I acted as I would on a live account.

    Not bad at all for the first few trades, let's see what happens next.
    What's more, I don't have any Data, so I've taken the 2 pairs I like the most, but
    not necessarily the best of the moment with its way of sorting out the best robot.

    If he does that every day and I earn 80%, that's enough for me. :D

    And, on a $10,000 account, petko advises starting with
    a 0.3 lot and I set the robot with a 0.1 lot. :D

    Did you already pass the demo trial?
    I am also on an ftmo trial with some other bot and currently on 4.7%

    On my charts, he hasn't opened any trades either.
    And I haven't tried one since.

    But, some members here say it works for them.
    So I don't get it. :(
