Better to just get the ex5 not ex4. EA for MT4 is really bad it really not gives you full confidence to use it on live market.
Backtest results that comes out from MT4 still need to get more proof. If it has really great results (we still have to question it, is it true or not, the only way to prove it is to directly enter or test it on the live market.).
But for MT5 if the backtest results come with great results you can really trust it. No offense but believe me, start moving from MT4 to MT5 if you rely on EA for trading.

You can't trust backtest results from MT4 its not that precise into the live market.

 

Also, how can you not trust backtests and MT5. Only trading on a real or demo account.

it has mt5 source code as well i think with source code we can modify things and use for prop firm

Its upto you, i just share my experience,
Backtesting on MT4 its not preciese by the results and what will be on live market. you need to do a lot of test on configure the spreads.
In MT5 all history data is more accurate and can be more trusted than MT4, you doesn't need to manual set the spread, cause the history data on MT5 is already captured all data from live market from backdays. So when the results on MT5 is bad you can trust that, the EA you want to use for that broker is not good and vice versa, if the result is good on MT5 (Backtest) you can trust it more like 90% will be the same as live market performance.
But if you do a test on MT4 you can't trust it at all, except you use raw spread brokers, but its still. Cause the processing of history data on MT4 is not that good as MT5 do.
