We need to start thinking outside the MT4/MT5 platform. Brokers are connected to their liquidity provider (LP) with their MT4/MT5 SERVER via the FIX-API access point. As long as we are using their MT4 server, we are exposed to their manipulation and none of our EAs will be profitable in the long run. I urge everyone present to start looking for a solution...software...some kind of MT4 bridge that allows us to run our MT4 bot on it and it then sends trades via the FIX-API directly to the liquidity provider and thus avoids using the broker's MT4 server.
