    just try the version 1.4.0 I shared to see if it works or not

    Exactly. The same thing happened to me with Norton.
    I downloaded the original version after paying for registration with Google. Everything is free.
    And the original one pops up the warning for files with little use but does not pop up for having things that it should not have.
