This is a unique tool on Ninjatrader 8.
yes, you can have CQG free but when it comes to NT8, this is quite a unqiue offering.
NT8 does not have it's roots in options or spread trading.
Taking account into the price to pay, (only 1/10th of the reseller price),
it is no brainer to add this tool to your toolset.

NT8 users, join!

 

I agree, NT8 users should definitely join! Its a very affordable way to get started with spread trading. If your main platform is NT8 then it is a no-brainer in my opinion.

 

It's a shame that there are only 2 payments of $21 left to complete this product and for everyone to try it.

I have personally used this tool to trade spreads.

There are many options for this and they are configurable, I have traded with the ES future and two expirations, the nearest and the next

In demo the results were very good but when I did it in real I saw that there was no liquidity in the furthest expiration and the results were inferior.

I decided to wait until the volume of both expirations were high so that there was enough liquidity and thus I solved the problem and the results were positive. This situation occurs only 4 times a year when there are only a few days left until expiration, but it is just a profitable example of the use we can give it.

More common is to trade a spread of the same expiration but different futures.

The tool works perfectly but as usual you have to take time to test and get good results.
