Check this out Kap. I did a little data comparison. Sierra vs Mt4 vs Nt8 on US30 index. It looks like Sierra is the smoothest and my mt4 broker is close to it but NT8 is lagging hard. I can't scalp on this is the cracked version? Why would the data come in slower? Any thoughts?

Here is a dilemma. How can i get the Dom on the NT8 to provide the same data as Sierra Dom does? NT8 dom shows prices within the decimals of 30062 meanwhile Sierra shows 30060,30061,30062,30063,etc. Any idea on how to set it properly? I sent ninjatrader an email and they said that the data required for the DOM is level 2. They also wanted me to send them the NT8 logs which happen to contain my machine ID and other PC information for them to investigate. Sure, i'll get right on that.

I think i've had an epiphany when it comes to trading. I've been killing it every day this week, except today. I got killed today and it didn't make any sense from a fundamental or market analysis point of view.

There are days when nothing works and i think those days are planned as a manipulation.

The price was rising the delta was negative.

I would say that if you take 2-3 trades and the market does not react to S/R levels, spikes out of nowhere, doesn't respect any indicator like fibs, etc and you end up eating 3 consecutive loses, then it is better to let shut down your computer and go do something else and come back the next day. It might not make sense in the moment but when it comes to keeping your capital and emotions in check, it is the right thing to do.

This is the 3rd time it happened to me and i've started to notice a pattern here. Now i know what is happening and perhaps how to recognize it and avoid it, potentially.

 

Recently reading a bit and trying different strategies of indicators and robots (here it's a failure at all). The most tangible way of trading with the highest probability (no holy grail exists and 99% of people here are looking for it all the time) in my opinion is the approach shown here https://ttwtrader.com/. I looked at the video and it looks like Chinese to me. I don't understand how it works and based on what.

 

Is that a NT8 indicator? I think that info might be useful as well. Does it require futures data or just forex?
